Education
Docent – A docent is a teacher and an interpreter of history. This requires research on a given subject and preparing information for students and visitor
s.  Many of the Docents dress in period clothing although that is not a requirement.  Docents help during school tours, group tours and special events.  It’s a great way to become an expert on a subject and share that interest with others.  Staff can help with research, presentation and dress.             Tour Guide – Volunteers give 20 minute tours of the village on a moving tram for adult tour groups.  This includes information on each building and background information on area history.  Staff will help with tour content and presentation.
Educator – Bonanzaville has several 30 – 45 minute programs geared for school children.  These programs are mostly taught to children visiting Bonanzaville in May but can be done off the grounds in other places.  These programs are pre-written and researched and filled with hands-on activities and artifacts to handle.
Demonstrator – Have a special skill?  Willing to learn?  Demonstrations are a wonderful part of a visitor’s experience. We need people who are willing to share a craft with visitors and at special events.
